Bandi Critiques
Union Minister and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a blistering attack on Congress, BRS, and MIM, accusing the three parties of colluding to block the BJP in the recent municipal elections. Addressing a gathering at the BJP state office in Nampally in the presence of state chief Ramachandra Rao, he welcomed ten corporators from Karimnagar who joined the party, praising their decision as a reflection of public support for the BJP.
Bandi Sanjay alleged that Congress, BRS, and MIM conspired at the highest levels, offering blank checks, cars, and other inducements to corporators to manipulate the Karimnagar Corporation elections. Despite these attempts, he said, the people of Karimnagar decisively rejected these schemes. He criticized the Congress government in Telangana for splitting the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) into three parts without public consultation, accusing the state of favoring MIM and dividing Hindu voters to engineer political advantage. He questioned why similar actions were never taken in other major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, or Chennai, despite their larger populations and budgets.
The minister accused Congress, BRS, and MIM of working together to prevent BJP victories, claiming that ministers were hoarding corruption records, and some IAS officials acted as middlemen in their schemes. He warned that these “corruption sheets” would be exposed, including audio evidence linking ministers and officials to illicit activities. Bandi Sanjay asserted that the BJP would not allow interference or corruption to influence municipal elections, and promised that those responsible would face action.
Highlighting development failures, he asked pointed questions about the implementation of Telangana Rising projects worth Rs 5.75 lakh crore, demanding to know how many units were started, how many jobs were created, and where the funds had gone. He criticized the government for leaving retired citizens without benefits, obstructing student access to hall tickets and education facilities, and failing to provide essential public services. He accused the Telangana Congress of channeling state funds to Delhi for their own use rather than for local development.
Regarding the Karimnagar Corporation victory, Bandi Sanjay called it “historic” and said it demonstrates public trust in the BJP. He emphasized that despite attempts by Congress, BRS, and MIM to manipulate the elections, the corporators voluntarily joined the BJP, rejecting collusion with other parties. He lauded the leadership of state chief Ramachandra Rao and local party workers for ensuring the success of the elections, and promised that the BJP would continue to aggressively expand its presence in Hyderabad and other municipal corporations.
Bandi Sanjay also took aim at the GHMC split, alleging that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy orchestrated the division to please MIM and manipulate voter demographics. He said the BJP enjoys a favorable environment in GHMC due to public dissatisfaction with Congress, BRS, and MIM actions, and warned that the party would ensure victory in upcoming elections. He claimed that ministers and IAS officers involved in corruption would be exposed and held accountable, with their offices and homes scrutinized.
The minister repeatedly urged the public to question Congress, BRS, and MIM leaders about unfulfilled promises, misused funds, and lack of development, warning that failing to do so could endanger Telangana’s future. He accused Congress of being a deceptive party focused on siphoning money to Delhi rather than serving the people. Bandi Sanjay promised that the BJP would work closely with citizens to ensure development projects are implemented, emphasizing that only the Modi government at the center can guarantee proper governance and funding for Telangana’s municipalities.
He concluded by reiterating that the BJP would continue to resist any attempts by ministers, officials, or opposing parties to block the party’s progress, promising to expose every instance of corruption. He called upon the people of Hyderabad, Warangal, Khammam, Siddipet, and Karimnagar to support the BJP in upcoming municipal and corporation elections, asserting that only a united effort could ensure accountability and proper development.
Bandi Sanjay’s statements combined strong allegations of corruption, election manipulation, and public neglect, along with a promise of aggressive action and full exposure of wrongdoing, signaling an intense political battle ahead for Telangana’s local bodies.
He warned that Congress would not remain in power anywhere in the country by 2029 and reaffirmed that the BJP government led by Narendra Modi at the center would continue to be the stable force guiding development and governance in Telangana.
