Nidhi Shah breaks silence on spat with Rupali Ganguly after Anupamaa exit

Actress Nidhi Shah, best known for playing Kinjal in Anupamaa, has often found herself at the centre of speculation surrounding her equation with lead actress Rupali Ganguly after exiting the show.

Ever since Nidhi quit the hit daily soap, rumours of an alleged fallout between the two have frequently resurfaced, with many even linking her departure to their reported differences. Now, in an exclusive conversation with The Free Press Journal, Nidhi addressed the chatter, admitting that while disagreements did exist, she has never spoken negatively about Rupali.

Clarifying her stance, Nidhi said, “First of all, I never said anything bad about her. See, she is an amazing actress, to be very honest. She is hardworking and that is inspiring me. When people say that Nidhi has spoken something about Rupali, it feels like they just want to make news or hype out of it to get traction. For me, I know what rapport I have with her.”

She further admitted that differences did exist between them, but maintained that such situations are natural between colleagues. “In the past, yes, we have had our own opinions and rifts, which is fine. It’s okay to have disagreements. But I never came to the media speaking about having issues with Rupali. It’s been more than a year since I left Anupamaa. I even forget what the problems were. We are very good with each other now, and we have been good with each other,” she shared.
