Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills has achieved a significant medical milestone, crossing 2,000 robot assisted surgeries using Xi robotic surgical system, a record across both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Xi robotic platform allows surgeons to perform complex procedures with control and accuracy. At Apollo Jubilee Hills, it has been deployed in fields ranging from gynecology and surgical oncology to urology, cardiothoracic, and gastrointestinal surgery, according to hospital sources.

Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, said this achievement reflects a commitment to harnessing minimally invasive technology to improve patient outcomes. Doctors working with the system describe an enhanced surgical experience, thanks in part to high definition 3D visualization and greater flexibility in instrument movement. Highlighting the importance of patient experience, Tejesvi Rao Veerapalli, CEO of Apollo Hospitals for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, said reaching the 2,000 procedure mark reflects deepening trust among patients and referring physicians alike.
