The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has strongly condemned what it called a “malicious and baseless propaganda” campaign being run by certain newspapers, social media platforms, and individuals against the Mega DSC-2025. The department made it clear that government has successfully completed the prestigious ‘Mega DSC-2025’ teacher recruitment drive, filling 15,941 teaching posts across the state in record time with complete transparency and adherence to all rules.

According to an official statement from the School Education Department, the entire recruitment process was conducted with full commitment, following the highest standards of transparency using modern technology and strictly in accordance with the government orders, notified recruitment rules, and reservation policies.

Despite the process being conducted with complete transparency, some sections have been spreading unfounded allegations such as question paper leaks, non-publication of merit lists, and irregularities in selections, without providing any evidence.  The department noted that these claims particularly show a lack of understanding of the horizontal reservation policy notified by the government. The department clarified that all merit lists, selection lists, and related details of the Mega DSC-2025 were published transparently as per the notified guidelines.

The entire selection process was carried out based purely on merit, following the reservation roster and multiple layers of verification through a highly secure digital system, leaving no scope for any irregularities. Taking serious note of the false propaganda, which is creating unnecessary anxiety among candidates and damaging the credibility of the recruitment process, the School Education Department has initiated appropriate legal action. Defamation notices are being issued to the concerned media organizations, social media handles and individuals responsible for the misleading campaign.

Criminal cases are also being registered against those who have created confusion in society. The department has demanded that the media houses, social media platforms, and individuals involved issue an unconditional public apology to the public and the School Education Department for spreading baseless allegations and misleading candidates. The School Education Department reiterated its commitment to maintaining transparency, impartiality, merit-based selection, and accountable governance in all recruitment processes undertaken by the government.
