AP Govt extends support after boat tragedy in Vietnam claims 15

The Andhra Pradesh government has stepped in after a tragic boat accident in Vietnam claimed the lives of 15 Indian nationals, including people from Andhra Pradesh. The incident has cast a shadow of grief over the state, prompting an immediate response from the government.

Soon after receiving information about the tragedy, IT, Electronics and Education Minister Nara Lokesh spoke with officials at the Embassy of India in Vietnam to review the situation and seek details about the victims and ongoing relief efforts. He urged embassy officials to provide all possible assistance to those affected and ensure necessary support for the victims’ families.

Lokesh assured that the Andhra Pradesh government would stand firmly with the families of the deceased and extend every possible help during this difficult time.

He also directed officials at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan in New Delhi to coordinate closely with the Central Government and the Ministry of External Affairs to facilitate relief measures and assist in all necessary formalities, including support for the bereaved families.

The state government said it is closely monitoring developments and remains in constant touch with the Indian Embassy and central authorities to ensure timely assistance reaches the affected families.
