Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's four-day visit to Davos, aimed at boosting AP's brand image and setting up a network to bring huge investments to the state, concluded successfully. During these four days, he held discussions with the CEOs and heads of the world's leading companies and representatives of various countries. On the other hand, the Chief Minister participated in round table meetings and seminars and promoted Andhra Pradesh and the AP brand.
The CM held a meeting with heads of nearly 15 of the world's top trade bodies from various sectors and explained the advantages of investment in Andhra Pradesh. The state's new policies for commercial development and industrialists and about the assistance provided by the state government to the investors.
They were invited to come to the state and observe the advantages first hand. As a result, several leading companies have shown interest in setting up their projects in the state. The companies have expressed their readiness to personally visit the state and take forward all investment issues.
‘Team India’ media meet
On the last of the Davos tour, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu addressed a joint press conference at the Indian Pavilion along with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and ministers from Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and other states.
The Chief Minister said that for the first time, India came together on a single platform with the concept of 'Team India' at the World Economic Forum summit in Davos and all the states participated in the conference together.
He said though all the states were competing separately for their investments, they cooperated with each other and showed the spirit of India's unity. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the golden age has begun for India and under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Brand of India is strong. He said that everyone has faith in Vikasit Bharat brought in by the central government.
The CM called upon the global investors to take advantage of this crucial time in India's growth at Davos. Chandrababu expressed confidence in the future of India. "Today, India is the fifth largest economy in the world, with strong leadership and teamwork. He expressed hope that by 2047, India will emerge as the world's leading economy.
The Chief Minister has been holding meetings with heads of various institutions and eminent personalities of various fields till the moment before returning to the state from Davos. He also met Andre Hoffman, a renowned Swiss environmentalist and Vice-Chairman of Che Holdings.
He also held discussions with UNDP chief Achim Steiner and CNN journalist Becky Anderson, after which the CM's team reached Zurich by road. From there, the CM will reach Delhi. Minister Lokesh will be in Davos for another day. After meeting some other industrialists today, Lokesh will return tomorrow. "My first foreign visit after becoming CM for the fourth time was satisfactory. The Chief Minister opined that these talks will yield good results in the coming days.
