Alia, Bhansali to revive Inshallah?

Report claims the filmmaker and actress plan to revisit the shelved project after Love And War One film that audiences were eagerly waiting for was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah, which was supposed to star Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan in the lead roles. However, just days before the shoot was scheduled to begin, Salman opted out of the film, following which the project was shelved. Bhansali went on to make Gangubai Kathiawadi with Alia, for which the actor received a National Film Award.

The actor and filmmaker are currently working on their second film together, Love And War. According to a report by a tabloid, the duo is planning to revive Inshallah after Love And War releases. A source told the publication that the project is not being considered the same film that was announced in 2019. While the makers reportedly plan to retain the basic storyline, the material will be reworked, with a fresh spin given to the film.
