ACB court adjourns bail petitions hearing

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court in Andhra Pradesh has adjourned the hearing on bail petitions filed by several accused in the high-profile liquor scam case to February 19, 2026. The accused individuals, including retired IAS officer K. Dhanunjaya Reddy, former Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to ex-Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pellakuru Krishna Mohan Reddy, and Balaji Govindappa (a director associated with Bharathi Cements), have submitted petitions seeking regular bail in connection with the alleged Rs 3,500 crore liquor policy irregularities case. This massive scam reportedly involved corruption and financial misconduct in the liquor trade during the previous YSR Congress Party regime between 2019 and 2024.
