Hyderabad: The passing of eminent nada upasaka and music patron Ananda Mohan Voruganti marks an irreparable loss to the Carnatic music fraternity, especially Telugu musicians. A true devotee of music, he dedicated his pension entirely to musical service and the encouragement of young and emerging artistes. For more than a decade, he stood as a strong pillar of support for the Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana, offering generous financial help every year. Even during illness, his commitment to service remained unwavering. Known for his warmth and affection, he closely followed children’s concerts and blessed them with encouragement. Spiritually inclined, he shared a deep bond with Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. True to his name, Ananda Mohan Voruganti remained ever joyful in service.
