Woman kills her son, dies by suicide

A woman allegedly killed her son and later died by suicide after attempting to kill her two-year-old daughter at Borabanda in Hyderabad on Friday night. The young girl survived the incident and is battling for life in a hospital. Police have taken up an investigation into the case. According to reports, the woman, who was a resident of Borabanda, had been facing certain family issues and had slipped into depression.

On Friday night, she allegedly killed her son at their residence and also tried to kill her two-year-old daughter. After the incident, the woman died by suicide. Local residents who came to know about the situation rushed to the spot and shifted all three to a hospital. However, doctors declared the woman and her son dead. The two-year-old girl is currently fighting for life while undergoing treatment. Police have begun an inquiry, and further details are awaited.
