Woman hacked to death in Kavadiguda

Panic gripped Kavadiguda after a woman was brutally murdered under the limits of Gandhinagar Police Station on Tuesday. The victim, identified as Shwetha, was allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon by an unidentified person on the fourth floor of a residential building. The accused reportedly fled the scene immediately after the murder. Soon after receiving information, police teams along with the Clues Team rushed to the spot and began an investigation. Officials collected forensic evidence and examined the crime scene for clues.

Investigators are scanning CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to identify the suspect and determine the sequence of events leading to the murder. Police are also questioning residents and people known to the victim as part of the probe. The body was shifted for postmortem examination. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
