The film Dear Uma has been released on April 18 (Friday) and received a warm response from audiences. To celebrate this success, the film's team held a success meet on Saturday to thank the audience. Speaking at the event, writer, producer and lead actress Sumaya Reddy said ‘I am truly happy to see the positive response for our film.

While many films are struggling to see the light of day, we successfully released ours and that itself is a big win for me. The audience is embracing our film, and we dedicate this success to all the women in the state.’ ‘Life begins in a hospital and ends there, too. Dear Uma is based on such a meaningful subject, and I hope it reaches even more people. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our film,’ she said.
