Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the acclaimed producer-director, reflects on his groundbreaking 2002 film Aankhen, a revolutionary heist thriller. Speaking about the inspiration behind the film, he shares, “We thought India was ready for such a novel concept.”
Despite initial discouragement, Shah believed in the uniqueness of the project and the strength of his cast and technical team. Now, as he expands the heist universe with Hisaab, starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Shefali Shah, he continues to push boundaries in Indian cinema.
