Union Minister Piyush Goyal lauded the use of Artificial Intelligence and modern technology in managing pilgrim services at Tirumala temple, describing it as a model for efficient and transparent governance. After offering prayers at the hill shrine, Goyal visited the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. He noted that the system provides real-time monitoring of room occupancy, devotee movement, darshan queues and laddu distribution, significantly enhancing pilgrim convenience.
The minister praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh for promoting technology-driven governance and commended TTD officials for implementing the AI-powered system within 100 days. After darshan of Lord Venkateswara Swamy, Vedic scholars offered blessings at Ranganayakula Mandapam and TTD EO M. Ravichandra presented him with Srivari Theertha Prasadam and a portrait.
Earlier, on the occasion of World Environment Day, Goyal planted a sapling under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign and urged every child to plant and nurture a tree in their mother's name. He noted that this program, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would help increase greenery and contribute to environmental conservation. TTD Additional EO C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary, CVSO Murali Krishna , Temple Deputy EO Lokanatham and other officials participated in the program.
