Metro India News | Hyderabad : Dr. Kota Neelima, TPCC Vice President and Congress Party In-charge for the Sanathnagar Assembly Constituency, visited the Sri Panchamukha Sankatahara Maha Ganapati at Khairatabad on Wednesday and offered special prayers. Members of the Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Committee extended a warm welcome to her on the occasion. She prayed for the well-being, happiness, prosperity and good health of people across the state, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
Dr. Kota Neelima said that the Khairatabad Maha Ganapati enjoys widespread recognition across the country and attracts lakhs of devotees every year. She recalled that the Ganesh Navaratri celebrations at Khairatabad have been conducted with devotion and grandeur for the past 69 years. Dr. Kota Neelima appreciated the arrangements made by the festival committee to ensure that devotees visiting the Khairatabad Maha Ganapati do not face inconvenience.
Dr. Kota Neelima further stated that the government had provided various arrangements at and around the Ganesh pandal, including the installation of barricades to regulate the movement of devotees, CCTV cameras as part of security measures, and cranes and other necessary infrastructure to facilitate the smooth conduct of the immersion ceremony.
