Based on the suggestions of the CM Chandrababu Naidu, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has decided to construct Sri Venkateswara temples in all state capitals across the country. This move aims to spread spiritual awareness and facilitate devotees in various states.
Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) managed by TTD is set to gain more prominence as a proposal will be sent to the central government seeking national-level status for the hospital. This recognition is expected to expand healthcare services for the poor and improve its infrastructure. To further strengthen the medical department, necessary staff recruitments will also be carried out.
TTD plans to enhance its connection with devotees using modern technology. By leveraging the services of AP Digital Corporation, feedback from devotees visiting Tirumala will be collected digitally, ensuring better services and improved management.
In a significant decision, canteen tenders in Tirumala will be granted to branded hotel chains, following modifications to the tender policies. This step is expected to ensure high-quality food services. Additionally, 258 staff members will be recruited on a contract basis to strengthen the Annaprasadam department.
To support traditional education, Rs 2 crore has been sanctioned through the SV Vidyadana Trust for the Kanchikamakoti Peetham’s traditional school in Tirupati.
A food safety department will be established in Tirumala to safeguard the health of devotees. Food safety experts will regularly inspect the food served by private hotels to ensure quality and hygiene.
In Mumbai, TTD is working on constructing a Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple. A letter will be sent to the Maharashtra government requesting a reduction in the ₹20 crore lease amount for the land allocated for the temple.
Additionally, Rs 3.36 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of six new toilet blocks in Tirumala, further improving the amenities available to devotees.
