The event was graced by Actor Jagadeesh of ‘Pushpa’ fame, who joined the winners and organisers in celebrating the success of the landmark international Telugu cultural initiative. Organised by Preti Pulipaka, Founder of Desi Events, Telugu Pageant UK 2026 made its debut as the United Kingdom’s first-ever inclusive Telugu pageant, created to celebrate talent, confidence, culture and individuality beyond conventional beauty standards.

Held in London on July 11 and 12, 2026, the inaugural edition witnessed an overwhelming response from contestants, families, sponsors, dignitaries, celebrities and members of the Telugu diaspora, establishing a new benchmark for Telugu cultural and talent events in the United Kingdom. An Inclusive Platform Beyond Conventional Pageantry. Telugu Pageant UK was conceptualised with a distinctive vision of removing conventional barriers associated with pageantry, including restrictions based on age, height and size.

Instead, the platform placed emphasis on personality, talent, leadership, confidence, individuality and cultural pride, providing contestants with an opportunity to showcase themselves while representing Telugu heritage on an international stage. The competition featured five major categories — Mr, Miss, Mrs., Teens and Kids — enabling participants from different age groups and backgrounds to showcase their talent and celebrate their Telugu identity.
