Teachers’ self-respect attacked in education commission report: R S Praveen Kumar

BRS party General Secretary Dr. RS Praveen Kumar on Sunday gave clarity that the Education Commission report would be thrown in the dustbin if former CM KCR comes to power again. He spoke to the media  at “Teachers' salaries should not be decided by the Education Commission. The PRC should decide them. The commission chairman Aakunuri Murali prepared this report with poison in his mouth. How can Murali say that the education system has been corrupted during the ten years of KCR's rule without any review? CM Revanth Reddy should apologize to 100,000 teachers. They tried to belittle KCR's efforts with the Electricity Commission and Kaleshwaram Commissions. Now they have conspired to damage KCR's reputation with the Education Commission report,” he alleged .

Praveen Kumar claimed that KCR renovated 25,000 schools through  the Mana Ooru Manabadi program with ₹. 7900 crores. He Sai’s that There was no need to mention the efforts made during KCR's rule regarding Gurukuls. “Can't Aakunuri Murali see that many medical colleges, nursing colleges, sports academies have been started under KCR's rule? Why are you criticizing KCR when Murali says that politics should not be added to the education system,” he asked . He said that KCR was credited with increasing the salaries of the teachers and employees through the PRC in a way that has never happened anywhere else in the country.

He alleged that CM Revanth Reddy received the report of the Education Commission to not increase the salaries of the teachers . He mocked that Murali had given the report to put tests to teachers for giving  promotions. “Should there be no tests for IAS and IPS officers’ promotions? The Teachers' salaries should be respectable if high standards are to be achieved in the education system. This is what many intellectuals have said. Doesn't Murali know that this is a ladder society? How can the Commission say to cancel the engineering entrance exams and give admissions through intermediate marks? Isn't it the rural students, who lose engineering seats through the inter marks? Isn't this recommendation good for corporate colleges? The Commission has given a report to cancel fee reimbursement,” he criticised.
