TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud on Sunday said that there was a great deal of democracy within the Congress party but warned that they would  not spare anyone no matter how senior they are if they cross the party’s line.

Responding on the state minister Konda Surekha’s  episode on Sunday, he noted that while every party allows for democratic freedom, the Congress party offers even greater liberty. He made it clear that any speech that violates party discipline would not be tolerated.

Mahesh Goud advised the party leaders to voice their grievances on the party platforms stating that it is inappropriate to discuss internal matters in public. Meanwhile, expressing a strong commitment to the district's progress across all sectors, he highlighted that significant development had taken place in Nizamabad during the previous Congress regime.

"Telangana University was established during former CM YSR's tenure. After assuming power recently, we introduced an engineering college and an agricultural college. We have sanctioned the highest number of 'Indiramma' houses in this district compared to others in the state. Furthermore, we have initiated the 'Indiramma Towers' project in Nizamabad as a pilot scheme, similar to the one in Hyderabad," Mahesh Goud said.
