Metro India News | Hyderabad : SiliconAndhra ManaBadi has entered its 20th academic year, marking a milestone in its two-decade journey of promoting Telugu language education and cultural heritage among children in North America. During the opening weekend of the new academic year, ManaBadi centres across nearly 250 cities in the United States and Canada welcomed approximately 12,200 students. The new academic year was made possible through the dedicated efforts of nearly 2,500 volunteers, teachers, centre coordinators and community members, who worked together to ensure a smooth and memorable beginning for students and families.

Over the years, ManaBadi has helped generations of children learn to speak, read and write Telugu, while strengthening their connection with their culture and heritage. Admissions for the new academic year will continue until the end of September.  Chamarthi Raju, President and Dean of Silicon Andhra ManaBadi, appealed to the Telugu diaspora in North America to support the movement and help take it to more families. “Your recommendations and support are the best way for our community to grow. Encourage your friends to bring their children to one of our centers and experience ManaBadi firsthand,” he said.
