State Bank of India (SBI) Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty on Monday visited the Yadagirigutta temple and donated two electric vehicles under the bank's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. These vehicles are specifically intended to assist senior citizens, women, and persons with disabilities, ensuring their convenience and comfort while navigating the temple premises.
Challa Sreenivasulu Setty emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering inclusivity and supporting the needs of diverse groups within society. He expressed pride in SBI's role in contributing to the well-being of communities through meaningful CSR activities.
Rajesh Kumar, Chief General Manager, Hyderabad Circle, highlighted the eco-friendly nature of the donation. He stated that these battery-operated vehicles align with SBI's vision of promoting sustainable practices while enhancing the experience of devotees visiting the temple. The temple's Executive Officer (EO), A Bhaskara Rao, extended gratitude to SBI for their thoughtful contribution. He acknowledged the positive impact these vehicles would have on the temple's visitors, particularly those who require additional support.
