Actress Rashmika Mandanna said the voting was “rigged” after Kriti Sanon’s song Mashooqa got released first

Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon seem to have sparked a fun social media face-off over Cocktail 2 songs. The makers recently released Mashooqa, featuring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor. Before the release, the team held a special listening event where two songs — Mashooqa and Tujhko, featuring Rashmika and Shahid — were played for media and fans. People at the event were asked to vote for the song they wanted released first. 

Mashooqa received slightly more votes and was released on Tuesday. However, Rashmika later shared on Instagram Stories that the voting was “rigged” because many media members were busy working and could not vote. She also asked fans to support her song Tujhko whenever it releases.

Kriti Sanon reacted with a cryptic Instagram Story that read, “Mashooqa loves ripe mangoes and not sour grapes. IYKYK.” Soon after, Rashmika Mandanna seemingly “accidentally” shared a short glimpse of Tujhko on social media with the caption, “Oops.”
