Rashmika asked me to marry her 100 times: Vijay

The couple shared candid revelations about their relationship and wedding on Karan Johar’s chat show

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna made several personal revelations during their appearance on Koffee With Karan, including how Rashmika asked Vijay to marry her for an entire year before he agreed.

In a recently released promo, host Karan Johar asked the couple if there had been a marriage proposal. Rashmika shook her head, while Vijay revealed, “She was like, ‘Let’s get married.’ I was like, ‘Okay, you have asked me a 100 times.’”

When Karan asked Rashmika if she had really asked Vijay 100 times, she replied that she had asked him for an entire year. Vijay then clarified, “I am not an a\*\*hole.” The episode also featured a fun moment when Rashmika was asked to choose between her Animal co-star Ranbir Kapoor and Pushpa star Allu Arjun. She picked Allu Arjun. When Karan asked Vijay about his best on-screen chemistry apart from Rashmika, she quickly responded, “Nobody.” Vijay then shared his mantra for a happy marriage, saying, “Always agree with your wife.”
