Rakasa promises wholesome family entertainment

At the Pre-Release Madness event ahead of its April 3 release, Niharika Konidela said Rakasa is designed as a clean, fun-filled film for the entire family. Produced by Niharika along with Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures and presented by Zee Studios, the film is directed by Manasa Sharma and stars Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika.

Niharika said the team focused heavily on promotions to ensure wide reach, noting the strong buzz since the first glimpse. She described the film as a unique blend of comedy, fantasy, and adventure, completed within budget despite scheduling issues and strikes. She added that even Ram Charan had heard about the film, indicating its reach.

Sangeeth Shobhan said Ram Charan appreciated the film and called it an adventurous entertainer inspired by Indiana Jones in spirit. Manasa Sharma termed the story fresh, rooted in folklore, and appealing especially to children.

Nayan Sarika called the project special, while Manyam Ramesh highlighted extensive promotions and pre-release business success. Zee Studios’ Divya expressed confidence in the film’s strong theatrical performance.
