‘Rajiv Gandhi laid strong foundation for tech advancement’

Dr. Kota Neelima, PCC Vice President and Congress Party In-charge for the Sanath Nagar Constituency, stated that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was a visionary leader who laid a strong foundation for the technological growth of India. On the occasion of the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, Dr. Kota Neelima, along with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other ministers, paid floral tributes to Rajiv Gandhi’s statue located opposite the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Secretariat.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kota Neelima recalled that Rajiv Gandhi’s leadership introduced revolutionary reforms in science and technology, economic liberalization, industrial incentives, and the strengthening of the Panchayati Raj system.Dr. Neelima stated that Rajiv Gandhi envisioned transformative change driven by the youth and ushered India into the computer era, paving the way for the country’s technological and economic advancement.

She added that the Congress government continues to carry forward Rajiv Gandhi’s vision of taking technology to rural areas and accelerating national development. Subsequently, Dr. Neelima toured Padmarao Nagar, Sanath Nagar, and SR Nagar divisions in the constituency, where she garlanded statues and portraits of Rajiv Gandhi and paid homage to the late leader.a
