Chennai: Reflecting the rapid transformation of India’s printing, packaging, signage, visual communications industries, Print Expo Chennai and Media Expo Chennai 2026 will return to the Chennai Trade Centre, Tamil Nadu from 9 – 11 July 2026 with their largest combined editions to date. Bringing together more than 200 exhibitors, over 400 brands and upwards of 550 products and solutions across 11,000+ sqm of gross space, the co-located shows are set to become South India’s most comprehensive sourcing platforms for the print, advertising, branding, signage and packaging ecosystems.
South India continues to be a highly significant market for the printing, signage and visual communications industries, characterised by a large base of established print businesses, strong demand for cost-effective production technologies and a preference for regional sourcing and business engagement. Print Expo and Media Expo have emerged into strategic platforms that bring the complete spectrum of industry solutions closer to the South Indian market.
The growing importance of the platform is reflected in the 2026 edition, where exhibitor demand has resulted in a sold-out show floor, expanded booth sizes and increased participation from companies across India seeking to strengthen their presence in the region. In 2026, the co-located shows have reflected a growth of 20% including the floor space and many new first-time participants. This has resulted in the addition of a new exhibition hangar to accommodate the growing exhibitor numbers and expanded floor area.
Sharing his views on the upcoming edition, Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, shared: “South India continues to play a defining role in India’s print and visual communications landscape. What we are witnessing today is a strong convergence of printing, packaging, branding, digital signage and automation technologies. The growth of Print Expo Chennai and Media Expo Chennai reflects the industry’s confidence in the region and its appetite for innovation-led business growth. The combined platforms offer a unique opportunity for industry stakeholders to discover emerging technologies, build partnerships and access one of India’s most dynamic markets.”
