Police department celebrated Independence day

The 80th Independence Day celebrations were held at Eluru Range Office, SP Camp Office and District Police Headquarters on Saturday. Eluru Range IG GVG Ashok Kumar hoisted the National Flag and hoisted the flag at the Range office. Later, sweets were distributed to the officers and staff of the office and wished them a happy Independence Day.

Speaking on the occasion, the IG said that the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who worked tirelessly for independence should be remembered. He said that many great personalities sacrificed their lives to achieve the independence of the country from foreign rule. He said that it is the responsibility of everyone to take forward the path of development while maintaining the integrity and unity of the country.
