Pavan Kalyan Battula to make debut through “Purushaha”

Pavan Kalyan Battula is set to make his debut as a lead hero with the upcoming film Purushaha, produced by Battula Koteshwar Rao under the Kalyan Productions banner and presented by Battula Saraswathi. Directed by Veeru Vulavala, the film features Pavan Kalyan alongside Sapthagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Rayancha Kokkura, Vishika and Hasini Sudheer in key roles. Purushaha is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 22.

As part of the pre-release promotions, debutant hero Pavan Kalyan Battula shared insights into his background, journey and the making of Purushaha in a conversation with the media. Hailing from Karampudi near Macherla in Palnadu, Pavan Kalyan comes from a non-film background. His father works in the construction field. He mentioned that his father, a fan of actor Pawan Kalyan, named him after the star around the time “Thammudu” released.

He highlighted that every character in Purushaha has been given equal importance. Drawing a comparison with successful films, he noted that audiences enjoyed Kshemanga Velli Laabhanga Randi and believes Purushaha will similarly appeal to all sections of viewers. Pavan particularly praised actors Sapthagiri and Kasireddy for helping him in every aspect. He also credited director Veeru Vulavala for bringing out the best in him.
