After posing for the shutterbugs, George Clooney clicks their photos

George Clooney had a funny yet iconic exchange with photographers at the ongoing Venice film festival. He handed his lifetime achievement award to a photographer Tiziana Fabi and took a turn with her camera. After receiving the Golden Lion on Wednesday, the Hollywood superstar posed in front of a crowd of photographers on the red carpet. He then walked over to Fabi and said, “I give you the Lion. I take the picture.”

Images of the moment — and of Clooney’s picture of a smiling Fabi holding up the award — spread widely on social media. 

He had also received an honour from the Venice photographers’ association, posing with the paparazzi and taking some snaps with the camera of another photographer from an Italian news agency. 

Fabi later said she was amazed at Clooney’s handiness with a professional camera.
