As part of a community outreach initiative, S Rashmi Perumal, DCP, North Zone, conducted an awareness program at MSB Educational Institute in Trimulgherry for 115 students from classes 9 to 12 and staff of the School took part

The program focused on creating awareness about cyber safety, drug abuse, and emergency response preparedness. The aim was to sensitize students to potential threats and equip them with knowledge to protect themselves.

The interaction saw enthusiastic participation from the students, who posed questions and shared concerns and the same were patiently clarified and emphasized the importance of being vigilant, adopting preventive measures, and staying prepared during challenging situations.

Special emphasis was laid on educating the students about emergency help lines, including the importance and usage of Dial 100 for immediate police assistance and 1930 for reporting cyber frauds. The session also encouraged students to be proactive in reporting issues and spreading awareness among peers.
