Mumbai 3.0: MMRDA, Raigad-Pen Growth Centre ink shareholder pact

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Saturday signed a shareholder agreement with the Raigad-Pen Growth Centre in the presence of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, and under the Chairmanship of Dy CM Eknath Shinde and in the leadership 

of Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, Metropolitan Commissioner, MMRDA. The agreement aims to facilitate the development of the Raigad-Pen Growth Centre Limited as an integrated township project. Dr. Mukherjee, said, “The response to our participatory land acquisition policy has been truly encouraging. Securing 216 Acres in such a short span reflects the confidence of citizens in this model. Mumbai 3.0 is being shaped as a people-driven development, where landowners are co-creators of a new urban future. This milestone gives us the momentum to accelerate implementation on ground.”
