The couple took a traditional dip at the Triveni Sangam Snan Ghat, performed rituals to Goddess Ganga, and offered prayers and aarti. As part of the spiritual observance, the minister and his wife donated clothes to Brahmins while remembering their ancestors. The Kumbh Mela grounds resonated with devotional chants as the couple immersed themselves in the spiritual atmosphere, participating in various sacred ceremonies at the river confluence.
