Meru International School celebrated the launch of ‘The Atlas of Becoming’, an anthology featuring original stories written by students from Grades 9 to 12. The book cover was unveiled at the school’s Miyapur campus by the Head of School, marking the culmination of a six-month literary journey undertaken by the young authors.
For over six months, students submitted 67 original stories, of which 40 were selected by a professional editorial panel. The shortlisted works underwent multiple rounds of editing, along with checks for originality and authenticity, before taking their final form as a published anthology.
Published in collaboration with TWAGAA Publishing, The Atlas of Becoming provides young writers with an opportunity to take their ideas beyond the classroom and experience the professional publishing process.
The title The Atlas of Becoming reflects the evolving journeys of young people as they discover their voices, perspectives and possibilities. The anthology brings together 40 distinct student voices, each offering a unique interpretation of experiences and ideas, while collectively reflecting the imagination and diversity of thought within the Meru community.
