Kishan Reddy to inaugurate Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway Station

G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines will inaugurate the Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway station on 26th July, 2026. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Union Minister of State of Home Affairs and other local public representatives are likely to grace the occasion.

For the convenience of pilgrims visiting Komuravelli Mallanna temple, a new railway station has been constructed in the recently laid Manoharabad – Siddipet new rail line (as part of Monoharabad – Kothapalli new Rail line project). The Komuravelli Punyakshetram Railway station has been completed with a cost of around Rs. 6 crores and is equipped with One High Level Platform with Platform shelters, Waiting Hall, Water Pedestals on Platform etc. The station heralds a dawn in the region benefitting huge number of pilgrims visiting the temple.

At present, four DEMU services are being operated between Secunderabad – Siddipet stations, which have now been provided with additional stoppage at Komuravelli Punyakshetram station. Accordingly to mark the occasion of inauguration of Komuravelli Railway station, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister along with the dignitaries will flag off Train No. 77654 Siddipet – Secunderabad DEMU from Komuravelli Punyakshetram station. These passenger train services will facilitate instant regional connectivity to the capital city area of Telangana and also to farther destinations in the near future.

The new Komuravelli Punyakshetram station will provide better access to devotees visiting the Komuravelli Mallanna temple and will also cater to the needs of short distance passengers particularly the employees, students etc. Besides promoting religious tourism, the station will also help to boost the socio-economic development in the region.
