Khelo India Youth Games-2026 in December

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to take steps to conduct the 'Khelo India Youth Games-2026' to be hosted by state on a grand scale. Reddy, who held a meeting with Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari and officials, told them to inspect the stadiums in Hyderabad and develop sports infrastructure on a permanent basis, an official release said.

The government is ready to provide necessary funds, he said. He suggested involving prominent sportspersons and film personalities in the inaugural and concluding events of the Khelo India Youth Games.

He directed the officials to aim for conducting the sporting event in December this year. Reddy also told officials to identify the venues here where the Youth Games can be conducted. About 20 different sports would be held as part of the Khelo India Youth Games.
