Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) party Chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has constituted a committee comprising educationists and the party leaders to study the necessity and continuation of polytechnic education in Telangana.

Anxiety has arisen among the polytechnic students following the Congress government's issuance of GO 97, which brings the polytechnic education under the purview of the Skill University. She stated that the  educationists and Telangana Rakshana Sena party leaders active in the education sector had been appointed as the committee members. She directed the committee to conduct a comprehensive study on the polytechnic education and submit a report within one week. The names of the Committee Member are Dooguntla Naresh Prajapati, Moram Veerabhadra Rao, Surabhi, Kongara Dharani Rani, Kotla Mahender Reddy (Kanishka), Udari Chandramohan Goud and Nadipalli Venkateswar Rao.
