Newly elected Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) Secretary Jeevan Reddy has expressed confidence that the Association is on the path to revival, assuring stakeholders that “good days will return soon.” Soon after taking charge, he met affiliated club secretaries, seeking cooperation to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance. Reddy said his office would remain accessible to address all legitimate grievances promptly.
To streamline player verification, he urged clubs to digitize birth certificates and link them with Aadhaar, ensuring credibility in records. The HCA has engaged Sportsmechanics, a firm also associated with Board of Control for Cricket in India, to enhance transparency through technology. Responding to club concerns, Reddy agreed to reduce four-day league matches to three-day games. He emphasized rebuilding trust and ensuring leagues and tournaments are conducted on schedule, marking a proactive start to his tenure.
