ITDA Project Officer conducts surprise inspections

ITDA Eturnagaram Project Officer Lenin Vatsal Toppo conducted surprise inspections of Ashram High Schools for boys and girls, as well as Primary Health Centres in Brahmanpalli and Chunchupalli villages of Mangapet Mandal on Saturday. During the visit, the Project Officer inspected computer laboratories, science laboratories, classrooms, hostels, dining halls, and toilet blocks at the educational institutions. He directed the headmasters to ensure the availability of all essential facilities and to undertake cleanliness drives both inside and outside the school premises.

Interacting with headmasters and teaching staff, he reviewed the functioning of RO water plants and examined arrangements for water supply to toilet facilities. He instructed officials and teachers to actively mobilize students under the Badibata enrolment campaign while visiting villages and residential areas, with the aim of increasing student enrolment in schools. The Project Officer also inspected food preparation in the kitchen sheds and verified whether meals were being prepared according to the prescribed menu.

He directed wardens to maintain hygiene in and around the kitchen premises and ensure that students are provided with nutritious and healthy meals. Later, Project Officer Toppo visited the Primary Health Centers in Brahmanpalli and Chunchupalli, where he examined staff attendance registers and reviewed the attendance of healthcare personnel. He instructed the ITDA Deputy District Medical and Health Officer to seek explanations from staff members found absent from duty.
