Reflecting on the Davos trip, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he was the first chief minister from India to visit Davos in 1997. Chandrababu explained that since then, in every term of his tenure as CM, he has visited Davos and brought foreign industries to the state.
"There was a time when we used to talk about IT and at that time we built a hi-tech city. Initially, the hi-tech city was built in record time and after its completion, companies were invited. The construction of a cyber-city along with a hi-tech city has been taken up there. He recalled that he and the then Chief Minister of Karnataka SM Krishna had worked very hard for foreign investment.
Bill gates keen on working with AP
Chandrababu said that there was a discussion with Bill Gates regarding deep tech. "Bill Gates told me to do a health-related project with the Melinda Gates Foundation. This project will be a model for the country. Today there are Telugu people in 100 countries.
CII and IMD Singapore have announced the setting up of a Global Leadership Centre in Andhra Pradesh. There will be a management company in this regard. All the industrialists will be in the GLC.Corporate governance will be made to meet the challenges in public governance,” he mentioned

Green hydrogen in the future
Chandrababu said that in the future, only green industries, green hydrogen and artificial intelligence will be given priority across the world. "This time in Davos, most of the discussion was on the green industry. It was followed by a discussion on AI.
He said that natural farming is becoming a priority ahead and now 10 lakh people are doing organic farming in AP. "Davos is not a criteria. It's a networking. Not only have the heads of the government but also the industrialists come. You have to network with them. You have to go to Davos to increase knowledge,” he said.

“We have to look at the network and the conditions there and understand the global trend and predict which sector the future belongs to and which direction development will take place and lead the state towards that direction," Chandrababu said.
He said that around 500 Telugu people have met him in Zurich and many of them have set up companies and are running successfully. Chandrababu said that at present there are Telugu people in 100 countries and in the next five years, there will be Telugu people in all the countries of the world.
