Housing Corporation in-charge MD calls for timely completion of houses

Andhra Pradesh Housing Department employees should work collectively to ensure that houses currently under construction across the state are completed on time, State Housing Department Special Secretary and Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation in-charge Managing Director Hephsiba Korlapati said on Thursday. She assumed charge as the in-charge Managing Director of the corporation at its head office.

Following her assumption of office, Hephsiba Korlapati held a review meeting with senior officials and employees to assess the corporation’s ongoing activities and the progress of housing projects. She said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was firmly committed to ensuring that every poor family in the state has a permanent house. She directed officials and employees to work as a team to implement the government’s objectives in accordance with the Chief Minister’s instructions.

Hephsiba Korlapati instructed officials to encourage beneficiaries to complete houses that are currently under construction without delay. She also directed engineering officials to regularly visit housing layouts, inspect the progress of construction and address issues that could affect timely completion.
