HIMTEX 2026 opens, next-generation manufacturing technologies showcased

The 9th edition of the Hyderabad International Machine Tool & Engineering Exhibition (HIMTEX) 2026 was inaugurated by Swathi Chalamalasetty, Director, Ace Urban Group & AM Green and Rajesh kumar Yadav, Additional Director, MSME DFO, Hyderabad at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Madhapur on Wednusday. The five-day exhibition will run until August 24, 2026, and will showcase the latest advancements in machine tools, robotics, engineering solutions and industrial automation.

Swathi Chalamalasetty, Director, Ace Urban Group said that manufacturing is entering a transformative phase, driven by automation, digitalization and advanced engineering technologies. Kuna Shankar, Director, HITEX, said that over the years, HIMTEX has evolved into one of India's progressive industrial exhibitions, playing an important role in strengthening the manufacturing ecosystem of Telangana and neighboring states. By facilitating technology transfer, knowledge sharing and industry collaboration, the exhibition has supported the adoption of smart manufacturing and advanced engineering practices.

The exhibition features a comprehensive range of technologies and solutions.Other key segments on display include sawing and cutting machines, special purpose machines, instrumentation and controls, measuring and testing instruments, finishing, cutting and abrasive tools.
