Give priority to Praja Vani grievances: Collector

District Collector Sneha Shabarish has directed officials to accord top priority to resolving public problems received through the Praja Vani program. She also instructed that the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations on June 2 should be organized in a grand and smooth manner. The Praja Vani program was held on Monday at the Collectorate meeting hall in Mahabubabad. Collector Sneha Sabarish, along with Additional Collector (Revenue) K. Anil Kumar and Additional Collector (In-charge Local Bodies) Purushottam, personally received petitions from the public.

Collector Sneha Shabarish heard the grievances of people who came from various parts of the district and immediately issued instructions to the concerned department officials for their swift resolution. The Additional Collectors supervised the classification of applications and provided necessary guidance to officials on the steps to be taken for early redressal. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said the government considers public issues with utmost seriousness. She emphasized that all pending applications should be resolved quickly and that providing transparent governance is the main objective of the administration.

Regarding the upcoming Telangana Formation Day on June 2, Collector Sneha Shabarish directed officials to organize the celebrations in a grand manner. She instructed them to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to guests and to make adequate arrangements for drinking water, especially in view of the intense summer heat. A total of 142 applications were received during the Praja Vani program. The majority of petitions related to land issues, pensions, double bedroom houses, ration cards, and implementation of various government welfare schemes.
