GHMC Commissioner honors award recipients

GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan on Monday felicitated AVS Gandhi, General Secretary and K. Shiva Kumar, Additional General Secretary and President, SC/ST Committee at the GHMC Head Office for receiving the prestigious Shrama Shakti Award. The award was presented by Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy,  Minister for Labour  and Mines, Government of Telangana. 

On the occasion, Adil Shariff, Working President, Municipal Sahakar Mazdoor Union (MSMU), INTUC met the Commissioner and highlighted the organization’s activities and contributions. He said the honor brought pride and recognition to GHMC. He added that the State government had rightly acknowledged the tireless efforts of leaders working to safeguard the rights and interests of members and GHMC employees. The awardees later thanked  Adil Shariff for recommending their names.
