Metro India News | Hyderabad : Ganesh Navratri celebrations were held with religious fervour at Meditech Hospital at Nagarjuna Hills in Panjagutta. As part of the festivities, an annadanam (free food distribution) programme was organised at the hospital on Wednesday. The hospital management said annadanam programmes have been conducted for the past three days as part of the celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, Meditech Hospital Managing Director Dr. P. Gopi Krishna said the hospital was first established at Jagadgirigutta four years ago and that a new branch was opened eight months ago at Nagarjuna Hills, Panjagutta. He said the Panjagutta facility has been functioning successfully and is aimed at making quality medical care accessible to people.
Dr. Gopi said the hospital provides round-the-clock, 24x7 services along with a range of medical facilities. “Best services with good corporate care at reasonable price” is the motto guiding the hospital’s services, he said.
The hospital offers treatment across several departments, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, critical care, radiology, polytrauma, general surgery and laparoscopic surgery. According to Dr. Gopi, all types of surgeries are being undertaken at the hospital, with good services and a focus on maintaining low mortality.
He further stated that around 800 in-patients have been treated at the hospital so far. Medical services are available at both the Panjagutta and Jagadgirigutta branches, he said.
On the occasion, Dr. P. Rachana said special treatment facilities are being provided for women. She added that lady doctors are also available to attend to female patients.
The management said the Ganesh celebrations were being conducted not only with devotion but also with a spirit of service to the community.
