Fake doctor arrested in Warasiguda, illegal practice busted

Warasiguda Police on Saturday arrested a fake doctor running an illegal medical practice under the name Madhava Medical Shop. The accused, identified as Nannuta Madhav, 42, a resident of Warasiguda and native of Bhupalpally, is an Intermediate-failed individual with no medical qualifications.

He allegedly misused a drug license belonging to his friend Kunta Archana to run the clinic for the past year, treating patients and administering injections without authorization. Acting on credible information, police conducted a decoy operation, sending a head constable in plain clothes as a patient.

When the accused attempted to administer an injection, police raided the premises and caught him red-handed. During interrogation, he confessed to illegally practicing medicine and giving injections including Diclofenac and TT (Tetanus Toxoid) without prescriptions.

Police seized injection vials and a Samsung mobile phone used for transactions. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. Further inquiry is being conducted to identify additional victims and ascertain whether more individuals were misled by the accused during his illegal practice currently.
