‘EPIC’ to release on Sept 11, Vaishnavi opens up with media

The much-awaited entertainer ‘EPIC – FIRST SEMESTER’, starring Baby pair Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, is gearing up for its theatrical release on September 11.Directed by Aditya Hasan, who previously directed the web series 90s, the film is presented by Srikara Studios and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Ahead of the release, Vaishnavi Chaitanya interacted with the media. Speaking about her character Kadali, Vaishnavi stated that she should see herself in a character and that was one of the main reasons she chose EPIC. Praising director Aditya Hasan, Vaishnavi complimented that he observes life very deeply and notices even the smallest things and the same can be seen in EPIC.

Talking about reuniting with Anand Deverakonda after Baby, she said that Baby and EPIC are completely different films. Explaining the film’s uniqueness, Vaishnavi mentioned that in EPIC, two people with different paths and different mindsets go to the UK for their studies and meet there. “The film revolves around the private conversations between them,” she stated. She made it clear that family audiences can watch EPIC and that director Aditya has shown only what is required for the story while keeping family audiences in mind.
