In a significant boost to marine tourism, the Visakhapatnam International Cruise Terminal (VICT), developed under the Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), is now ready with world-class facilities. This state-of-the-art terminal, built with Rs.77 crore, is expected to play a crucial role in promoting sea tourism in Andhra Pradesh.

As part of the Prime Minister’s Mission, the VPA has developed VICT with international standards, ensuring that it can accommodate luxury cruise ships and offer seamless services to tourists. Authorities have confirmed that cruise ships will begin arriving in Visakhapatnam from June, July, and August, marking a new chapter in the city's tourism sector.

The VICT is designed to handle a large volume of passengers efficiently, offering top-notch facilities to provide tourists with a comfortable and memorable experience. Special plans have been made to ensure that visitors can explore the major tourist attractions in and around Visakhapatnam without any hassles.

With its strategic coastal location, modern infrastructure, and world-class services, the Visakhapatnam International Cruise Terminal is set to position the city as a key hub for cruise tourism in India. Officials believe that the new facility will not only boost tourism but also create opportunities for local businesses and hospitality sectors. As Visakhapatnam gears up to welcome international and domestic cruise liners, this development is expected to put Andhra Pradesh on the global maritime tourism map.
