Metro India News | AMARAVATI
Marking two years of the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday said his administration had overcome challenges inherited from the previous YSRCP regime and delivered welfare, development and good governance.
In a post on X, Naidu said the coalition government, elected with the trust of five crore people, had spent the past two years addressing crises and rebuilding the state. He said the government’s focus was on ensuring progress for every citizen, family and section of society while laying a strong foundation for Andhra Pradesh’s future. The TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance had secured a landslide victory in the 2024 Assembly elections, winning 164 seats and paving the way for Naidu’s fourth term as Chief Minister.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union government, Naidu said their support had strengthened the state’s development efforts. He added that Andhra Pradesh was steadily moving towards the goal of Swarna Andhra with the Centre’s cooperation and the partnership of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Thanking the people for their support over the past two years, Naidu sought their continued cooperation in implementing more welfare and development programmes in the years ahead.
