Revanth pitches Telangana model in Keralam

Telangana CM A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday challenged opposition parties to visit the state if they have doubts about the implementation of welfare guarantees, asserting that Telangana stands as a living model of delivery and governance. Speaking at the launch of the UDF manifesto in Kochi, he sharply criticized corruption and dynastic politics, drawing parallels between the administrations of K. Chandrashekar Rao and Pinarayi Vijayan, alleging both regimes were marked by “unbridled corruption” and authoritarian functioning.

Reddy stated that the Congress-led government in Telangana has fulfilled its promises from day one, urging critics to witness first-hand the rollout of its “Six Guarantees.” He even offered to personally demonstrate their implementation if a delegation from Kerala visits Telangana. Declaring that Kerala is poised for political change, he expressed confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF) would usher in a “golden era,” replacing what he termed a “dark phase” under the current regime.

Launching a broadside against both Narendra Modi and Vijayan, the Chief Minister referred to them as the “Modi Brothers,” alleging governance failures at both state and central levels. He emphasized that central funds are the rightful entitlement of the people and not an act of charity by the Prime Minister.

Highlighting Telangana’s achievements, Reddy noted that the government waived ₹21,000 crore in farm loans benefiting 2.5 million farmers and is providing ₹12,000 per acre annually under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He added that over 67,000 government jobs have been filled, while flagship schemes such as free bus travel for women, subsidized LPG cylinders at ₹500, and up to 200 units of free electricity have significantly improved living standards.

The Indiramma housing initiative and women empowerment programs were also cited as key milestones.

The UDF manifesto, branded as “Indira’s Five Guarantees,” promises free bus travel for women, ₹1,000 monthly assistance for female students, enhanced welfare pensions of Rs. 3,000, health insurance up to Rs. 25 lakh, and interest-free loans for youth entrepreneurship.

CURE, PURE, RARE Vision for Telangana’s Future

In a message marking the statewide “Grama Sabhas” under the Praja Palana–Pragathi Pranalika initiative, CM Revanth Reddy called for collective participation in shaping Telangana’s future. He emphasized that through the CURE, PURE, and RARE framework, the state aims to become a global benchmark across service, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors. Stressing grassroots governance, transparency, and time-bound delivery, he urged citizens to actively engage in the 99-day action plan to ensure inclusive development and position Telangana as a leading state by 2047.
