Collector conducts surprise inspection of government hospital

District Collector Kumar Deepak Shukla conducted a sudden inspection of the 30-bed government hospital at Luxettipet mandal headquarters on Friday. During the visit, the Collector examined the outpatient register, medicine stocks, hospital wards and the overall premises. He also reviewed the ongoing construction work for the post-mortem room inside the hospital and instructed officials to expedite the completion of the work at the earliest. 

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Kumar Deepak Shukla emphasized that the hospital must provide improved medical services to the people visiting it. He directed the doctors and staff to create awareness among the public about necessary precautions to avoid heatstroke, especially in view of the summer season. He also instructed the medical officers and personnel to adhere to punctuality and duty timings. Later, the Collector visited the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) school, where he inspected the construction works of the dining hall and additional rooms.
